Teaching UX Design at the Master of Digital Media Program for Toronto Metropolitan University.
In this elective, students:
- Get a comprehensive overview of design thinking and UX processes
- Identify and analyze user problems using UX principles
- Learn about wireframing and progressing designs through various fidelities
- Have a chance to create prototypes and do some usability testing

Teaching Design Research 1 at the Brand Studies Program for the School of Design

Worked in the IBM Z mainframe team, the world’s most powerful business platform. Z systems handle $3 Trillion in daily commerce flows through mainframe applications.


- Work within the IBM Z team, conducting research on devops projects relating to products associated with IBM’s mainframe computers

- Conducted various research activities and exercises to help align teams on design problems, generate empathy for users, and validate design solutions

- Work directly with clients and internal SMEs to further understand their development needs as it relates to IBM’s digital solutions and used that data to help build the research team’s understanding / user empathy

The Bank of Montreal is a Canadian multinational investment bank and financial services company. Founded in Montreal, Quebec, in 1817

- Supported multiple agile teams, designing and implementing a variety of moderated/unmoderated usability tests, surveys, interviews and other supporting research.

- My particular focus was working on the secure site of the Canadian online banking experience as well as the Canadian mobile app

- Tagged and synthesized research and translated raw data into shareable reports that could be accessed by a variety of team members. Frequently presented research findings and workshopped solutions / next steps with product teams

-Worked with business team and project managers to workshop short term and long-term research plans

XE has been providing people with currency information since the dot com era. They are most known for their popular website that receives hundreds of millions of visitors per year and their flagship currency app, that has been downloaded over 70 million times.

Things I did:

Grow and maintain UX research in product cycle
- Establish active group of customers to help us in beta testing / usability testing
- Conduct moderated/unmoderated user tests
- Design and conduct research initiatives to inform design/business decisions 
- maintain and share findings

Assist in product design for web and app experiences. Utilized a variety of design tools to coordinate design efforts with business needs and apply them to dev sprints to facilitate product development.
- Participated in app redesign project
- was involved in product wide redesign strategies for money transfer integration as well as SSO integration
- was involved in secure site updates for corporate clients
- Provided ux research to make informed design decisions across a variety of products

Acid Integrations is an innovative digital agency located in Milton and Toronto, Ontario. They provide custom solutions to a variety of high end clients via their usage of web and mobile applications as well as digital signage capabilities. 

• Lead UI/UX and designing processes from concept to production, working primarily                                
   on projects such as the Oklahoma City Thunder Fan Campaign, GoPhysio 
   healthcare app, Los Angeles Phlharmonic Donor Wall, and Roswell Cancer Research 
   Institute digital wall.
• Utilize a systematic design process that ensures success for each project delivered
• Researching and analyzing competitive landscape
• Generating wireframes, interactive prototypes and hi-fidelity visual UI 
   design mockups (Sketch)
• Conducting stakeholder reviews and presentations
• Working hands-on with development team daily to ensure accurate design
