* Currently leading the design teams responsible for the Capital One mobile app and its platforms. This includes leading the design of next-gen concepts for the Capital One iOS and Android apps. My role also includes overseeing the design  of the platforms that Capital One teams use to build experiences into the app.

* Oversees the Capital One design system team and ongoing design system strategy.

* Strategically led the Capital One enterprise servicing platforms that supported mobile, web, and Eno products. Improved organizational performance across all the enterprise servicing platform initiatives.

* Drafted and executed the strategy and design of five teams that worked on the Capital One associate platform experience. Ensured associates were effectively onboarded and welcomed into the system.

* Managed all aspects of identity experience and the identity platform. Created and oversaw the strategy for the design of the end customer experience and the internal platform experience. Optimized the onboarding process for customers and team members.

• Partnered with product leadership in prioritizing the design team focused the most efforts. Crafted a unique experience vision for the Credit Solutions flagship platform.

• Clearly established and tracked metrics, goals, OKRs, and benchmarks for the Credit Solutions team. Refined design outcomes, efforts, and methods.

• Served as a key representative of the Credit Solutions Design team throughout the larger Capital One Experience Design community and Credit Solutions community.

• Introduced and drove the experience vision for the Credit Solutions flagship platform. Actively participated as a strategic partner on the Credit Solution extended leadership team.

• Educated senior leadership on the team's design capabilities. Retained a key role of assisting the leadership team drive critical decision-making processes.

• Actively represented the Credit Solutions Design in the larger Capital One Experience Design community and Credit Solutions Community. Enhanced relationships with stakeholders across the company.

• Led the efforts of the team that built out the Capital One Commercial Design system and the design practice management for design operations.

• Recruited and onboarded the team from a side of desk project to a fully funded team of five Designers and five Developers. Strengthened knowledge and skills through training and mentorship programs.

• Launched a design system of 65+ components for both React and Angular platforms. Authored the matching documentation for both technology stacks.

Spearheaded business efforts for a suite of products and services offered by Capital One's Commercial Card line of business. Designed and released all card products organization-wide.

(Customer Experience Design) Course
• Facilitated course curriculum that focused on learning the core fundamentals behind customer experience (CX) design, methods for understanding the customer experience (CX), mastering the primary types of customer insights, and becoming an expert at demonstrating the impact a world-class customer experience (CX) has on the overall business.

Responsible for managing website creation and upkeep as well as other design needs, sponsorships, other 'things' and welcoming everyone to wonderful San Diego :)

• Championed the implementation and documentation of design standards and patterns across new and ready-to-launch products. Maximized the user-friendliness and profitability of all products.

• Ensured that design, product management, and development teams were internally aligned and working toward common goals/objectives.

• Coordinated and assigned the daily workloads of the design team. Empowered the team to consistently meet deadlines and expectations.

• Established and maintained a robust mentorship program for the design team. Expanded and enhanced knowledge and skills through coaching, mentorship, and training experiences.
