I'm a Director of Engineering at Oviva in Berlin, leading an AI engineering tribe. Before that I led 30+ engineers as an Associate Director at Hexad, and I started out as a hands-on engineer. In total, 16+ years across IC, consulting, EM and Director roles.

  • Engineer to EM, or EM to Director (30 min): Moving into management, or into a bigger scope. We'll look at what changes in the job, what to stop doing, and how to show you are ready. Bring your situation: a promotion, a first team, or a bigger org.
  • Leading AI-native engineering teams (30 min): How to set up specs, evals, code review and pod structure when AI writes much of the code. Bring a real team problem and we'll leave with a clear next step.
  • Leadership interview prep (EM and Director) (45 min): Guidance on how to prepare for an EM or Director interview. This is not a mock interview. We'll look at what the role really tests, how the interview loops usually work, and where your story needs to be stronger. Bring the job description or the role you are aiming for, and the part you are most unsure about.
