Led a team of 8 designers, I spearheaded the Consumer & Vendor Platform teams, focusing on design systems, setup, and trust. Our mission was to address consumer problems at scale by creating reusable standards, patterns, and services that extended across our entire ecosystem of products.

Designed an operating model that successfully scaled and drove the adoption of our product catalog across (3 Countries), catering to various market segments. This involved leading a partnership program, developing a contribution model, and managing clear, effective communications to ensure alignment and engagement across all regions.

I collaborated closely with my team to develop and scale a centralized design system that serves over 25 developers and 8 designers. I designed an operating model that facilitated seamless adoption across various squads, leading a partnership program, contribution model, and effective communication strategies.

I was leading various design projects from inception to execution in the Retail and Food Experience Design team. My role entails:

▪ Redesigned the website to attract new customers, optimize online presence, improve marketing conversions, and drive significant sales growth.

▪ Involved in redesigning the #food layout of the storefront app for resolving issues in the experience of the checkout process.

▪ Reduced checkout abandonment by streamlining the registration process, transforming it into a seamless one-click experience.

▪ Developed a design system that ensured consistency and scalability across a diverse product portfolio.

▪ Designed an intuitive subscription management tool in the dashboard, enabling owners to easily handle their subscriptions.

▪ Designed and rolled out a Dine-in feature after engaging with operators and owners, enhancing both the dashboard and storefront

Based on my role as a senior product designer I lead & help nafas to have better innovation and human-centric design to make decisions based on the data we have through the following activities:

▪ Conduct usability tests on each independent type of flow on any new feature we will add it as a 
     service, and create a findings report reflecting the bad and good findings

▪ Prioritize usability goals based on the severity and take decisions & prepare reports for management.

▪ Monitoring features by defining the metrics and key success criteria for measuring the feature updates

▪ Responsible for tracking features success through quant data and analytical tools and optimizing the 
     experience based on findings


what we achieved
▪ I am thrilled to Partner with the product and marketing team by increasing the app downloads from 100K to 1 Million downloads 

▪ Manage the design department for 18 months from 212 daily unique visitors to more than 5000 unique visitors (Adoption rate increased into a huge number) 

▪ Increase subscription rate and Conversion rate once we launched the new subscription plans into 33.33% increase by adding some minor differences in the financial model that suits our targeted users

I managed the consumer squad, focusing on delivering impactful business and user experiences through a recommendation engine for real estate projects. I led the process from definition to launch, collaborating closely with sales and growth teams.

▪ Contributed to the website redesign, improving results recommendations to better align with developer and consumer interests, leading to an increased rate of leads on listings.

▪ Refined location criteria to recommend nearby areas within budget when users reach the end of scrolling, encouraging them to explore further based on their interests and available listings.

▪ Designed and worked on improving the onboarding & Notification process with the marketing and onboarding teams for new users through both email and the app.

▪ Boosted app installations by collaborating with the content team on deep linking and SEO, leveraging Google analytics and user data history to enhance app visibility.

▪ Designed the map view for real estate, distinguishing between standard, featured, and sponsored listings while allowing users to customize results with filters and sorting options.

▪ Worked with the design team to develop a centralized design system for all platforms and organized workshops with business, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure effective usage, producing a company-wide design system handbook.
