Digital Product Designer at Oxford University Press
I was born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1984 and raised in Houston, Texas, which gave me a unique cultural mix and fluency in Arabic and English. Originally trained as an architect, I discovered my passion for graphic design while studying, working part-time with local companies, and moving between firms to gain experience.
After graduating, I balanced architecture with freelancing as a graphic designer, eventually launching my own company with a strong marketing presence in Alexandria.
In 2017, I transitioned into the digital world as a UI/UX designer, delivering various successful web and mobile products. By 2019, I joined Petra Advertising as Senior Art Director, leading a team of young designers and creating visuals for the UAE and Egyptian markets. Soon after, I moved to RewardLion as Senior UI/UX Designer to work on larger projects.
In 2022, I took a major step by joining Oxford University Press as Senior UI/UX Designer, where I help shape digital products that make learning English simple and accessible to people worldwide. Behance: https://www.behance.net/artlabsoudan Dribbble: https://dribbble.com/Soudan84
