My role is to ensure designers in the team understand how their work is showing impact to the business and users of our product.

Code Army were appointed by Khazanah Nasional to launched Project Brainchild in 2015 as an initiative to unearth and develop entrepreneurial talents within Khazanah and Khazanah-linked companies. 

I dived into the role head first with the accomplishment of a detailed curriculum design, lessons planning, training sessions plans, instructional content that delivered knowledge transfer from training workshops, coaching and mentoring to behaviour change for Khazanah Project Brainchild 2015 Cohort 1 to 2016 Cohort 4, Ministry of Education Malaysia's Superb Higher Education League 2017, and Khazanah Nasional Entrepreneurship Outreach 2017.

I oversee short to medium term as well as long-term learning, operational, and management improvement for all venture pre-accelerator, accelerator and incubation programs or Code Army key activities. 

In under 3 years, instructional design delivered transformation of 1,000 entrepreneurs and professionals, validated over 500 products, combined valuation of RM15mil (USD3.6mil) startups, and RM3mil (USD722k) funding raised.

Since 2014, I've been a serial mentor at Lean Startup Machine workshops. My goal is to help the participants to success in the shortest possible time. Launching startups from an idea in just three days using the methodology. I mentor them through the process of validating the problems behind the ideas, prioritising their ideas biggest risk and poke holes in their ideas.

In 2013, Code Army was founded and launched in London, United Kingdom, as an online platform that helps non-technical business entrepreneurs build their products and launch their startups with experienced CTO's.

Successfully raised funds from Malaysian angel investors and government agencies, in 2014, Code Army was appointed as a head for Lean Startup Machine (LSM) in Malaysia and conducted their early program in partnership with Microsoft Malaysia.

Moving into 2015, Code Ar.my became Asia’s first representative for Lean Startup Machine's Global Advisory Board and proceeds to sign a partnership agreement where it later act as the official regional partner for 14 countries (ASEAN + Hong Kong, Taiwan, Nepal & Maldives).

In 2015, in partnership with Khazanah Nasional, the strategic investment fund of the Government of Malaysia, Code Army launched Project Brainchild - Malaysia’s first ever program targeted at existing employees of Khazanah and Khazanah-linked companies. An initiative to unearth and develop entrepreneurial talents. 

Later on, Code Army established partnership with General Electric to further spread Lean Startup methodology among large corporates and their partners. Until today, Code Army has helped many large corporates and countless startup founders to apply the principles, thinking and techniques of the Lean Startup to improve their business, products and services.

Continuing the growth of success, Code Army is on the path to changing the lives of 1,000,000 entrepreneurs and professionals by unlocking the power of Lean Startup to empower the region.
