About Akash Deep

Sr UX Researcher at Uber

Hi👋🏽, I’m a senior UXR at Uber. I’ve worked across seven different industries, often diving into unfamiliar spaces and quickly ramping up to deliver high-impact research. I specialize in creatively adapting academic methods to tackle complex business problems and scaling research in scrappy environments. I previously led an intern program and strongly believe in giving back to the amazing community that has guided me.

Outside work you can find me: obsessing over a new hobby, challenging people to a hot ones challenge, traveling and exploring other cultures, and keeping my local board game cafes flush with cash.

What to expect from me: actionable feedback, a thought partner, and a warm, honest space for us to explore challenges and grow together.
