Working with product and engineering

• Created a marketplace platform for people to get quality consultation and help in different domains from industry experts. Launched the mobile app in July ‘19.
• Did the marketing, content creation, operations, legal, customer support, and experience design. Hired an intern for development work.
• Currently repivoting this idea based on pilot feedback to bring something more exciting in the market.

• I work on the retail segment of Microsoft Bing, crafting e-commerce focused scalable experiences across surfaces.
• I have designed & shipped multiple high-volume experiences (80M+ monthly active users) which contribute to the $100M+ revenue annually.
• Some key shipped experiences include Shop Hub, Offers on Bing, Black Friday/weekly ads, product ads revamp, brand storefronts, etc.
• I am the user advocate in the larger product team and work extensively on strategy, visual design, research, motion design & prototyping.

• Conceptualized and designed a chatbot from scratch for Skype (all platforms).
• Conceptualized a user engagement model for high user retention and accordingly designed scenarios, bot personality, conversation flow and new features to accomplish the business goals of the project.
• Managed a team of 4 developers and drove the project to successful implementation (complete ship-ready product) within the deadlines.

• Designed the overall experience of the cognitive computing based data science platform.
• Adopted an iterative Design Thinking approach and focused on Shneiderman’s heuristics to create an intuitive UI.
• Collaborated with full stack developers, data engineers and data scientists in product development to keep a track on technical constraints in design.

• Pakit is a global peer-to-peer platform for connecting senders, travelers, and buyers.
• Travelers can earn money by utilizing their unused baggage space while traveling across countries, state or cities whereas senders can ship items at cheaper rates from one place to another with their help.
• People across the globe wish for things which are expensive or not available in their vicinity and travelers can help them by delivering it.
• Working towards creating an unmatched and reliable user experience for the peer-to-peer sharing community through trustworthy design.

• Designed and prototyped an induction kit for the new Bosch employees to communicate Bosch values by redefining the brand identity.
• Identified user needs with the help of user-centered design research and conceptualized an HR app for the hiring process.
• The kit will be launched in various national and international Robert Bosch locations.

• Organized and managed the overall internship process for the Department of Design, IIT Guwahati.
• Responsible for contacting and coordinating with the recruiters throughout the process of hiring.
• Responsible for negotiating terms (stipend, cut-off percentages, etc.) with the companies.

• Learned the basics of Augmented Reality and applied it in the domain of smart learning solutions for college students in Electronics Lab.
• Conducted user studies through questionnaires, surveys, and interviews.
• Prototyped an AR mobile app in Unity3D for user testing and evaluation.
