About Ako Asamoah
Senior Product Designer at Twitch
Hi, I’m Ako. I went from an entry-level designer to a senior product designer in under 3 years. Along the way, I’ve led and shaped large, complex products at Twitch, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
I’m passionate about guiding emerging talent and helping them navigate their design journey, whether it’s breaking into big tech, understanding its culture, or sharing where you want to grow as a designer.

What mentees say
“I came to our session with some topics in mind but didn't come as prepared as I would like. Ako asked all the right questions to identify what I was looking for. We ended up with a great discussion on measuring success as a designer and what I can do about it in my current situation. Thank you, Ako!”
