About Alastair Cook
Lead product designer at Canva
Hi, I’m Alastair. I’m a senior product designer with 8+ years working across UX, AI, and product strategy. I work end-to-end from early research and vision framing, to prototyping and delivering designs ready to build.
I’ve spent time in both fast-moving startups and large companies, leading teams, mentoring designers, and running workshops on everything from prototyping with AI, strategy alignments with SVPs, and design spikes across teams. I thrive in 0-1 high ambiguity stages across products were design can offer the most clarity.
I can help with: • Portfolio or resume reviews • Product and design strategy • Communicating with stakeholders • Bringing AI into your design process
Happy to share what I’ve learned and help you level up your own practice.
