Working with engineers

● Lead the development and rebuilding of R&D team (mechanical design, hardware design, software/firmware design, manufacturing process management teams, QA team and project management office, 30+ employees) and on target to meet the goal of expanding product share, designed by QTECH R&D, from 20% to 50% within 3 years.
●	Directly managing staff recruitment, onboarding, training, developing KPI’s and budgeting.
●	Implementing and integrating PLM system into companies’ business processes.

●	Led the development and rebuilding of R&D department (mechanical design, hardware design, software/firmware design, project management office, QA team, 50+ employees) to upgrade equipment and extended functionality for company’s partners.
●	Directly managed staff recruitment, onboarding, training, developing KPI’s and budgeting.
●	Led a team that successfully improved R&D processes. and as a result, time for internal agreements was reduced by 40% and time to market was reduced by 10% within the first year.
●	Managed all aspects of R&D programs and projects: scope, schedule, stakeholders, communications, cost, budget, risks, procurement, tracking and monitoring, etc.
●	Led a team that developed and launched 6 new devices on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities and achievements:
●	Led the creation and development of the new R&D team (mechanical design, hardware design, software/firmware design, manufacturing processes design and QA, 15+ employees) that achieved the goal of expanding market share from 5% (2016) to 20% (2021) within 5 years with high probability for further expansion.
●	Directly managed staff recruitment, onboarding and training, budgeting, team ground rules development, LEAN approaches implementation.
●	Managed all aspects of R&D projects: scope, schedule, stakeholders, communications, budget, cost, risks, procurement, tracking and monitoring, etc.
●	Led a team that created and launched 2 new product lines and more than 10 devices on time and within budget.

●	Managed company’s team directed to increase the number of LED luminaries in the company’s portfolio from 30% to 70% within 3 years and to propose high-effective LED luminaries for different market segments at an affordable price:
o	Thoroughly fulfilled comprehensive customer requirements analysis and assessment.
o	Successfully managed cross-functional team (mechanical design, hardware design, manufacturing processes design, procurement and QA) in a matrix environment. All aspects of R&D projects were under my control: scope, schedule, stakeholders, communications, budget, cost, risks, procurement, tracking and monitoring, etc.
o	In collaboration with PMO team and engineering teams, improved R&D, manufacturing and procurement processes, developed transparent rules and implemented more effective tools.
●	Implemented Stage-Gate approach, implemented several agile tools (Scrum/Kanban), described and optimized R&D business processes. As a result, time-to-market was reduced by an average of 20%.
●	Led a team that developed and launched 7 product lines of luminaries on time and within budget. 5 of these devices became bestsellers.

●	Successfully managed all aspects of R&D projects: scope, schedule, stakeholders, communications, budget, cost, risks, procurement, tracking and monitoring etc. All devices launched on time and within budget.
●	Designed and patented sophisticated solution: Counterfeit banknote IR-detector with USB connection (RU 122192)

●	Designed several electronic devices for banking and cash processing industry (Point-On-Sales, Automated Teller Machines, Automatic safes). Schematic/PCB design – Altium Designer, firmware design – AVR, ARM IAR Embedded Workbench (asm/C), software auxiliary tools design – MS Visual Studio (C++).
●	Designed and patented sophisticated solutions: high efficiency electric supply system for ATM which increases battery runtime up to 50-60 minutes (RU 88830)
