• Identifying, defining and delivering digital solutions and opportunities for new propositions, services, products and experience areas that deliver value to customers and colleagues that are directly aligned with Sainsbury’s Group digital vision and KPIs.

• Leading all phases of user-centred design through a data-informed, test-and-learn approach on Buy flow for Argos, Habitat and Groceries Online.

• Championing the voice of the user through work, organising and conducting user research and usability testing to inform concepts and validate designs, while bringing stakeholders on the same journey.

• Considering the wider Sainsbury’s Group digital ecosystem while designing concepts and solutions that are aligned with Sainsbury's strategic vision of allowing our customers to shop whenever and however they want.

• Leading and management stakeholders and project teams through a user-centred design approach whilst balancing business challenges and strategic vision.

• Running workshops with cross-functional teams to inspire user-centred design thinking.

• Inspiring, coaching and motivating junior members of the design community.

• Working with the Luna Design System team to continuously evolve the digital guidelines and champion their adoption. Also while working on the Bolt Argos Design System.

• Consistently embedding inclusive design principles into work and encouragement throughout the team of 70+ Designers, 20+ Engineers and 5 PMs.

• Working comfortably in or out of Scrum, but consistently proactively collaborating with cross-functional teams, championing best-practice for design thinking in an Agile environment.

• Proactively leading new creative and thinking across Fan Experience product releases, platforms, and devices. Ensuring work is delivered on-time & to expected high standards.

• Playing an active role in the creation and management of Sofar Sounds global brand guidelines. Championing cohesion across the company in our design standards, style, direction, methodology and accessibility.

• Project prioritisation and management across Fan Experience in collaboration with Product, Engineering & Business teams to influence the Product lifecycle. Through assessment of existing information architecture, heuristic evaluations and user research to identify areas for improvement.

• A model of excellence in design. By taking an active role in shaping the design team org structure, partaking in the hiring process and continuously mentoring fellow Designers and Researchers.

• Support the Product and Design team leaders in defining the product vision by establishing and promoting design principles within our design system and across all products. Actively contributing to roadmap discussions and influencing generative research to evolve the Sofar brand.

• Planning, conducting, documenting and interpreting quantitative and qualitative user research to ensure design and experience solutions are underpinned with user and business needs.
