About Alex Locke
UX Designer at USAA
I am a UX designer specializing in money movement experiences, currently working in the Chief Design Office at USAA. With 10 years of design experience, I joined USAA in 2014 as a contractor and became a full-time employee in 2016.
Prior to joining the Chief Design Office, I worked as a presentation designer for various teams, including CTO, Auto Experience, and EPMO. I also have a background in freelance design, collaborating with agencies in San Antonio and Austin, and have had the opportunity to design for Spurs Sports and Entertainment.
I am certified in UX design from NN/g and have a BFA in Web Design and Interactive Media from the Art Institute of San Antonio.
Currently pursuing a master's degree in Information Studies with a focus on UX Research and Design from the University of Texas at Austin.
One of my recent accomplishments includes contributing to the design of the dual-facing international wire transfers, enabling members to handle transactions online. Currently, I am working on the modernization of bill pay experiences at USAA.
Outside of work, I have a passion for film, exploring new food spots and coffee shops in San Antonio, and enjoying family hikes.
