Founder & CEO at dvhb startup studio (Global)
I'm mentoring idea and early-stage startup founders in accelerators, corporate incubators, and private sessions. It’s my way to give, learn, sharpen, and stay human.
⭐ Topics
Business Model: Idea validation and projecting profitable unit economics. Product Strategy: From lean MVP to state-of-the-art AI tech. Traction & GTM: Growth hacking from the first sale to $1M+ ARR. Fundraising: Mastering the pitch, data room, and strategy for closing rounds.
🎓 Background
I have 25 years in tech, with 3 exits and 10 failures.
In 2010, I founded dvhb, a startup R&D studio where I engaged with more than 1000 entrepreneurs and executives across Europe, the US, and Asia. This made me global and industry-agnostic.
Over the last two years, I trained at VC Lab with distinction, got hands-on at Func Ventures, made angel bets, and published a MondayVC for 1,200+ readers.
I know how founders think, how investors assess, and how to bridge the two.
✈️ Personal Life
As passionate traveler, I’ve explored 40+ countries and live the digital nomad life with my family in Southeast Asia.
“I've had multiple sessions with Alex before and he was the reason we were able to get into 500 Eurasia accelerator. He's excellent at diving into details on rationale of the business. He keeps it simple at start, but can quickly go very deep into complex subject matters. The fact that he is a technical founder gives him an edge knowing more about the subject matter than others.”
“Alex’s mentorship was truly transformative, his sharp insights helped me clarify QAClan’s focus, refine our differentiation, and rethink strategy with confidence. A brilliant mentor for any founder.”
“Huge gratitude to Alex Samson—a true godsend to founders. He dove into SPARK, asked the right questions, and shared practical, no-nonsense fundraising advice pro bono. Mentors like Alex embody “founders supporting founders.” Thank you, Alex!”
