About Alexander Katin

Senior Product Designer at Elsevier

Hi, I’m Alex — a senior product designer with 11+ years of experience across startups and enterprises.

I am a senior designer at Elsevier and I mentor early-stage founders and designers. My background spans product strategy, UX/UI, and design systems — from launching MVPs to refining mature platforms.

I’ve worked with teams like Avito, Sympli.io, and YC-backed ClaimSorted, and enjoy helping others navigate real-world design challenges, portfolios, and team collaboration.

Let’s chat if you’re exploring product design careers, startup design processes, or want to grow your creative confidence.
