Engineering Manager at Wayve

I am an Engineering Manager at Wayve, working on Embodied AI for self-driving. Before that I was Tech Lead Manager (AI/ML) at Snap, working on enabling multimodality in Snap’s chatbot (My AI) and prior to that I led a team in delivering diffusion based full-frame stylisation generative models and worked on on-device stylisation models for human faces (face-swap and My Twin (gender swap) lenses).

Before joining Snap I was an AI Tech Lead Manager at the KIRIN AI team, Huawei, Cambridge, specialising and leading teams in Machine Learning for Computer Vision and Video and Image Processing.

I hold a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Cambridge.

• Career change - moving to AI (25 min): This session will be useful people wanting to switch to the roles related to AI - AI/ML Engineers, PMs in AI Products. By the end of the session you will have a clear understanding of: - What the market is like. - What skills are necessary. - How to stand out against other candidates. - List of resources to get more information
• Build an AI strategy for your product (45 min): In this session we go over your specific product requirement and needs and identify if you need to integrate AI into your system. If AI can indeed help your product grow we build a long term strategy in building talent, investing into the infrastructure, discuss blockers and pitfalls and sketch the roadmap.
• Mentorship Session (25 min): This session will be helpful for someone who: - Feels like they are stuck in their career path. - Have a conflict at work that they don't know how to address. - Want to be promoted, but unsure how. - Want to change a job, but not sure where to start. - Want to build a long-term career strategy. - Want to gain more skills and are looking for a roadmap. I am happy to have a conversation about any of the above, however, would also be happy to hear about any other issues that could be blocking you from feeling your best at work.
