About Alissa Millenson (Al)

Service Design / UX Research at Freelance

I have 10+ years of experience helping teams align opportunities, frame insights, and create differentiated experiences through intentional collaboration, learning, and design. I've worked in boutique and large design consultancies and in-house global design teams. I'm passionate about design research, inclusive design, service design, UX, and connecting with folks to exchange knowledge and grow.

My background is in anthropology and design, and in addition I have background in yoga and somatic trauma therapy. I try to bring this lens to my work.

Currently, I am doing contract work in the renewables space.

Outside of work I practice aerial silks, take photographs, travel and paint.
