Booking.com is a global leader in travel e-commerce, with the mission "to make it easier for everyone to experience the world".

My focus at Booking.com is to increase customer engagement by leveraging different marketing communication channels (incorporating rewards and incentives).

- Owned the end-to-end campaign experience across platforms (www/mdot/apps)
- Launched multi-channel (email/push) campaigns to engage and convert users
- Optimised incremental ROI of the campaigns with the help of data science
- Designed a scalable UX to drive cross-category (eg. flights, rental cars, attractions) adoption
- Led the end-to-end user experience in the strategic marketing events ($100M+ budget)

Falhari is India's #1 D2C fresh fruit brand currently serving in 'Delhi-NCR' and 'Bengaluru'

I worked towards improving the organic visibility of Booking.com by enabling search engine optimisation (SEO) teams to derive actionable insights from reliable tooling and data infrastructure. 

- Created a tool to measure the power of SEO (A/B) experiments with the help of data science
- Designed a new bucketing method to improve the statistical power of A/B experiments
- Increased the domain authority of Booking.com by devising a new page interlinking model
- Identified new optimisation opportunities by leveraging data from external sources (ex: Google Search Console, SEMrush, AppTweak etc.) via API integrations and robust data pipelines

Vedantu is India's biggest LIVE online learning platform, with a monthly active user base (MAU) of 50+ Million users. They have recently raised a funding of 100M USD (series-E) with a valuation over 1 billion dollars.

I was building the learning journey of a student at Vedantu. 

- Owned the complete product roadmap of student's learning experience at Vedantu 
- Created an interactive 2-way LIVE teaching platform (WAVE) with a capability to handle 10,000+ students concurrently
- Build a LIVE chat-based mobile application for instant doubt solving
- Launched the LIVE masterclasses platform which led to an increase in paid conversions

Achievement - Designed innovative teaching elements (patent-pending) in the new teaching platform (WAVE) which led to a 50% increase in in-class participation.

Adways Inc. is a global affiliate marketing company (publicly listed at Tokyo Stock Exchange). In 2016, Adways acquired Pocket Money application (India’s leading reward-based Ad platform, 10M+ downloads). Pocket Money is helping the (application-based) businesses in user acquisition and engagement, through customer-centric (B2C) application.

I managed the growth & development of Pocket Money application. 

- Defined the long-term and short-term goals for the product
- Created the product roadmap and prioritized the backlog
- Led tech sprints and daily scrums in an agile environment 
- Executed A/B experiments and analyzed trends, to drive customer-centric product development
- Managed the Pocket Money P & L along with the Business team

Achievement: launched multiple product features which contributed ~20% in the company's top line.

Pocket Money is now a part of vCommission - India's leading affiliate network.

Tapzo is now acquired by Amazon India. 

It was a personalized transactions platform, India's first 'All-In-One' app (with 5M+ downloads) and had rapidly scaled transactions in a year's time to ~60K/day across different categories (Cabs, Food, Deals, Recharge, Bill payments etc), and had partnered with major Indian players like Uber, Ola, Zomato, Swiggy, Nearbuy and others to power the platform while building an intelligent layer on top of it.

My contribution:
- Build from the ground up & managed the growth of Food, Deals, and Home Services product
- Defined the product vision with long term and short term goals
- Improved conversions & achieved revenue and transaction targets
- Experienced in conducting user studies and running tech sprints in an agile environment
- Led partnerships from the tech-product side with major players viz. Zomato, Foodpanda, Nearbuy, Swiggy etc.

Achievement: Making Deals product profitable in less than 15 months, building it from scratch.

Handled end-to-end operations for Deals category with the responsibility of creating an awesome experience for our users. Previous experience of handling Food, Shopping, Laundry, & Grocery category on a chat-based transactional platform.

Other things that took my time,

- Executed marketing campaigns (both online & offline) for demand generation;
- Planned and executed the push notification strategy;
- Created new processes to handle user complaints efficiently; 
- Managed strategic partnerships with major players in the domain to handle the demand; and
- Worked closely with the product team to improve the user experience on the category. 

Some of the achievements, 
- Scaled category transactions from 0 to 500 per day in less than 6 months
- Increased notification CTRs up to 12% by optimizing campaigns
- Reduced complaint resolution TAT by 40% (<48h) resulting in better customer experience

Akosha (now Tapzo) was India's largest customer service platform, connecting consumers & brands to resolve customer service issues quickly and increasing customer satisfaction. Rebranded to Helpchat in July 2015, and then to Tapzo in Oct 2016.

I have worked across multiple teams,

Process Excellence:
- Worked on building a massive team of experts for the operations related to Akosha app
- Hired and trained 600+ experts within a short span of 3 months
- Defined the key app metrics based on the chat expert's and user experience KPIs
- Led the app push drive from ideation to execution, leveraging Akosha's inbound calls traffic
- Streamlined the complaint handling structure along with setting up IVR for Akosha's inbound centre

Operations:
- Managed a team of 30+ members to meet the requirements of Akosha’s B2B clients
- Conceptualized and developed a process handbook for B2B clients
- Restructured the process of outbound calling, making it more efficient which led to 15% increase in daily complaint handling

Biggest online marketplace in Latin America; currently operating in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Chile, Panama, Ecuador, and Argentina.

Worked with the Commercial team in Business Intelligence (BI) Division

Analyzed and handled sales data for all the categories (using SQL routines) to build sales strategies across all the countries; and led a team project related to demographic study of Linio's customer database

Snapdeal was one of the fastest-growing online marketplaces in India.

Strategized performance marketing campaigns for Electronics and Computer categories; Initiated live projects on Campaign structuring; and, assessed brand positioning of Snapdeal vis-a-vis its competitors and identified untapped market segments.

AnB Education was a venture founded by IITians and educationists in 2011, working towards developing different tools to make learning more interactive and engaging for school kids.

Worked in the area of curriculum development; and build a formative assessment and learning tool 'Rsquare' with real-time feedback capabilities.
 
Received a letter of appreciation for outstanding performance.

NCL is an Indian government research, development and consulting organisation with a focus on chemistry and chemical engineering. 

Conducted novel research in the field of powder technology; 3D Imaging of Granular particles using laser fluorescence and refractive-Index matched liquid; engineered an experimental setup to facilitate characterization of three-dimensional imaging of heaps, resulted in a successful validation of simulation-based results by experimentally analyzing the heap structures.

Imperial College London (ICL) is a university of world-class education and research in science, engineering and medicine, with particular regard to their application in commerce and healthcare.

Worked on a research project which was in collaboration with Oxford and Cambridge University. Analyzed physical properties of oil and glycerol used in the multiphase experimental rig, and developed a model to measure frictional pressure in pipes with pressure transducers and manometers.
