About Amanda Gulley
Director of Product and User Experience at Arizona State University
Foremost I am a proud mom of two, in sunny Arizona. Outside of my family my greatest passion in this world is design and proving the value of design to the world. As a designer, I believe that everything we touch should be tailored to our customers, but more importantly, to people. We shouldn’t build products or experiences without the best intent of how it impacts the people who use it. My passion for UX stems far outside my every day job and has become a hobby that has provided me countless opportunities as an expert to learn, grow and practice the field in all walks of life.
I’m focused on building user-centered UX, design, development and research teams that manifest experiences by elevating products and delivering innovative solutions through data-driven designs. My team ranges from design systems, immersive design, UX design, UX research, product engineering and product management.
Above all, my passion has led me to teach, mentor and train teams, students and career-changers so they can truly thrive within an industry that I truly feel lucky to be a part of.
