About Amanda Simão

UX Research at TCS

Thank you for your interest in my mentoring sessions. At the moment, I’ve decided to pause them to focus on balancing work, studies, and personal life. I hope we can connect again in the future!

I have a degree in Social Sciences and Anthropology, and have been working as a researcher for six years, with extensive experience in mixed research methods applied to User Experience (UX).

As a UX researcher, I discovered a new opportunity to integrate and connect two areas of mine that I have an affinity for: research and technology. For me, it is essential to understand the relationship between people, technology, and their consumption habits. My focus is on understanding culture and applying ethnography to better understand people's needs.

I see Anthropology as an important tool for social transformation, and when combined with Design, it allows me to make great observations, conceive new ideas, and ask the right questions!
