• Design and build high-volume, low-latency, and multi-threaded distributed services.
• Improve Search & Discovery by adopting modern techniques based on Information Retrieval (Apache Lucene & Solr) and Machine Learning (NER, SVM, etc).
• Build Search product, outside of SAP Hybris, and collaborate with other leaders in technology to build a new microservice technology stack.
• Build, manage and mentor a team of 10+ engineers.

• Design, architect, build and test critical aspects of the SaaS offering service on top of Lucidworks Fusion and Kubernetes that runs on public clouds and supports multiple search use-cases.

• Design, build and test critical aspects of the Managed Search - Apache Solr service that runs on public clouds and supports multiple search use-cases
• Identify, execute and test optimizations related to specific search use-cases
• Port optimizations and bug fixes from the Apache Lucene/Solr community to the managed Solr clusters
• Contribute to Apache Lucene/Solr with new features, enhancements and bug fixes
• Document architecture, low-level design decisions and tradeoffs

• Resolve complex search issues in and around the Lucene/Solr ecosystem
• Provide expert-level support services to a wide range of customers with varying degrees of technical knowledge

• Business Requirements​​: Involved in designing and developing features and applications in Search-Tech team using technologies like ​Apache Solr, Apache Kafka, Aerospike, ActiveMQ and Spring, MVC framework, Hibernate in Java ​
• Data Analysis and Processing​: Crunching, extracting and processing valuable information from logs. Created common framework in ​Java using Apache Spark for all Big Data requirements in the team. Have ​processed data for around 40million products​
• ​Collaborated with colleagues within the team and outside, team lead, product managers at various levels to provide high end products and services in quick time.

Three tasks completed during summer internship at CSMCRI, Bhavnagar, Gujrat under the entitled project: Human Activity and Behaviour Recognition in Videos which are listed below:
1. Literature survey of the Project title
The overall process, old and modern techniques in human activity and behaviour recognition in videos was thoroughly studied. Around 100 research papers, YouTube videos and independent websites regarding machine learning were watched and studied and foundation for further study was set up. 
2. Prepare a survey report: Human Activity and Behaviour Recognition in Videos: A Brief Review
Based on the Literature survey, a 12 page Survey report on the Project title was made. The originality of the paper was verified by the guide, Mr Sandipkumar Maganlal Vaniya along with his guidance and support in the completion of the paper. 
3. Development phase: Computer Vision applications in Visual Basic 2012 with OpenCV C++
Some of the techniques studied were built as Windows applications like Object Tracking and Detection.
