About Anastasiya Khadasevich

Technical Project Manager at Dow Jones

I’m a technical Project Manager with a non-linear career path — I started as a journalist in Belarus, then spent a few years as a community manager in the gaming industry. At some point, I felt drawn to pursue a master’s degree in Europe, and that’s how I ended up in Barcelona, enrolling in a UX design program. While studying, an opportunity came up to take on some freelance PM work for a US company, almost by chance — and it turned out to be a much better fit than I expected. Currently, I work as a Technical PM at Dow Jones. I’ve lived in Barcelona for the past 5 years. I’m fluent in Russian and English, and currently learning Spanish. My background is proof that you can come into PM “sideways” — and turn a varied path into a strength.
