About Anat Mooreville

Design Strategist at Capital One

I am a design strategist senior manager at Capital One and use human-centered design to identify and collaborate on areas of strategic importance to the enterprise. After a PhD in History and academic career, I decided to enter UX research and design strategy. Since then, I’ve worked in strategy and design in a communications consultancy, product development firm, health insurance, and now financial services.

I'm most suited to talk to: Academics wanting to transition to industry (especially those with humanities degrees). Beginners interested in design strategy. My peers -- I'd love to meet other mentors at my level to talk shop and learn from each other's experiences.
