About Anca Stirbacu
Product Designer at AS Studio
As a hybrid creative who wears many hats, I have a multidisciplinary background in art, design, marketing, advertising, and tech. I am also a major nerd when it comes to psychology and human behavior.
I started my career as an autonomous artist and musician, and at the young age of 25, I founded my own fashion business and clothing platform. From there, I grew as an art director, exploring the advertising and marketing world and learning the power of good ideas and well-executed campaigns that engage people at their core.
Currently, I am a solopreneur, running my own design studio and collaborating with start-ups in the fintech industry. My education includes an MBA in Marketing Fundamentals from IAA School Romania, where I learned how to develop a brand from the ground up. I also have an Erasmus Scholarship in Interface Culture from Universität für KIG Linz, where I was first introduced to concepts like Interaction Design, Interactive Art, and Human Centered Design.
In addition to my background and experience, I am passionate about supporting women in the tech industry. As a self-made product designer, I understand the challenges and obstacles that women often face in this field, and I believe in the importance of creating a more inclusive and diverse tech industry.
