Founder at Purposefully Curated
I call myself a Curator of Purposeful Experiences because I bring people, data, and ideas together to boldly improve the world for communities in need. I do this by working at the intersection of being a designer, strategist, facilitator, and connector.
With a degree in graphic design and experience at an advertising agency as a Digital Art Director, my passion combines a background in visual design with user-centered creative thinking. I have experience in the healthcare, sustainability, and tourism spaces.
In my spare time, I hang with my husband and our dog, enjoying hiking, skiing, and biking around Colorado.
I might be a great mentor for you if: You're a young designer who would like a portfolio or resume review | You live in or are interested in the Colorado / Denver design + advertising scene | You’re passionate about design, but just having trouble getting that first job | You’d like some tips on networking | You’re a graphic designer transitioning into a digital / UX role | You’re trying to figure out the differences in types of UX roles
“Andrea was extremely helpful in answering my questions throughout the meeting. There were times she provided several recommendations/solutions to questions I had.”
“I reached out to Andrea for a portfolio review. Andrea was really nice and friendly. Her feedback was really useful. She shared links on how to write case studies, we talked about my mission statement and one of my case studies. I will be booking her again and I would highly recommend her.”
“Andrea was a great mentor! She told me all about her experience stepping into UX, gave me advice on how to start building my portfolio, and helped me get connected in the local community! I'll definitely be meeting with her again in the future. Thanks, Andrea!”
