About Andrea De Matteis

Senior Mobile Developer at Playtomic

I'm a Senior Android Engineer at Playtomic. Originally hailing from Italy, I made the move to Norway back in 2022. With a solid background spanning over 5 years in the mobile development sphere, I've primarily specialized in native Android development, occasionally delving into native iOS projects for brief periods.

My professional journey has taken me through three different companies, allowing me to collaborate with individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and personalities.

Over the past three years, I've taken on the role of a mentor, guiding young engineers and recently onboarded colleagues within my team. I'm known for my mild and welcoming personality, and I take great pleasure in helping others reach their full potential.

I can offer my expertise in the following areas:

Conducting Java/Kotlin code reviews and - providing insightful suggestions. Tackling challenging problem-solving scenarios. Assisting you in determining the most effective methodology for your project, maximizing your chances of success. Enhancing your communication and relationship-building skills at work and with stakeholders. Attracting the right attention in the job market, making yourself a standout candidate for potential employers.
