Since the second half of 2021, I'm also taking care of people working for one of the products tribes (~20 people). My focus is on ensuring good team dynamics, support people's career growth, hiring, and onboarding new talents.

I joined the company with the objective of building the Data team, starting up the initiatives to increase data maturity, and productionize the machine learning prototypes. The focus was on hiring, building the team, and setting the data strategy. Later, Data people moved to cross-functional tech teams, and my focus switches to defining long-term strategy and leading research activities.

I joined the company with the objective of starting up and run the data initiatives in the company. Started building the prototype of the data pipeline from scratch and then supporting both tech teams and the BI team in using it. Afterward, I created, raised, and managed the team that takes care of the data topics. 

Company profile: European leader in the Home and Local Service market. 

Responsibilities: leading the team that is building the company’s data pipeline which collects data from different services, processes them and makes them easily accessible to internal stakeholders. The infrastructure was built on AWS and automated using Terraform and Ansible, software components are written using Python, Scala, Java and Go.

I joined the company with the objective to enable scaling the data pipeline (that was still a prototype). The initial focus was on the refactoring of the prototype in a cloud-native fashion. Later the focus shifted on creating and managing the team that takes care of data topics and defining the company data strategy.

Company profile: multiple award-winning, data-driven insights automation company focused on delivering fast, easy, and accurate customer insights by merging and enriching data from different data sources.

Responsibilities: Define the data strategy of the company and lead the division that works on it. Design, implement and manage pipelines (build on top of JVM languages, Python, Spark, different tools from Hadoop and Docker ecosystems) that collect a huge amount of data from different sources into the data lake (on both AWS and GCP) and process that in near real-time. Develop and deploy artificial intelligence techniques to enrich collected data and extract insights. Design and implement the storage layer of the company platform. Design and develop the API layer and the serverless microservices infrastructure behind the platform. Managing GDPR-related data governance initiatives.

Roles: supports founders in multiple activities including developing chatbot and conversational UX, building platform's cloud infrastructure and creating AI engine that powers financial abilities of the agent.

The company was acquired by MoneyFarm, an online investment advisor, in October 2017.

Company profile: advertising agency active across every media using both traditional and innovative approach for adv campaigns.

Roles: manage the full lifecycle of products and projects. From design to implementation on different kind media to maintenance and evolution.

Since the beginning of my carrier I've been working together with several customers (consulting companies, advertising agencies and more) as freelance consultant. I worked alone and in a team and I developed stand-alone software, web applications and mobile application using cutting edge technologies.
