I am accountable for the usability and accessibility of medical devices and software applications. I conduct research during the initial phase of product development (discovery) and subsequently create usability and accessibility requirements based on the findings. 

I lead workshops and ideation sessions and subsequently translate the results into wireframes Concurrently, I am working on multiple projects, and I collaborating with colleagues located in the USA, Ireland, India, and Turkey. Additionally, I have managerial oversight of the UI designer within the team.

To foster a user-centered design culture within the team, I developed and implemented a recurring training program for over 40 team members on user experience and human factors.

I founded and built a dedicated UX team of 9 professionals, comprising designers, researchers, and writers, to work on the company's vLab innovation project. I worked with the team on multiple projects and on establishing the design system and guidelines for UX writing the projects will follow.

Regarding the team, I was committed to helping them develop themselves professionally and constantly improving their skills to enrich their full potential and growth. 

Also, I advocated and helped groups understand user needs and ensure that the usability heuristics and accessibility standards were met in the product they were working on.

I transitioned into a part-time role, yet my involvement with the Digital Division remained unchanged. My primary focus was to ensure that the usability and accessibility of the digital materials were in line with industry standards. To accomplish this, I conducted periodic audits on various web materials, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to address gaps. Furthermore, I lend my expertise to the team, providing guidance and advice regarding any UX issues the team met.

I worked in a highly dynamic and fast-paced Agile environment and handled the ownership for the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) aspect of the organization's website and its associated dependencies. This entailed creating and implementing a comprehensive roadmap for the project, managing the product backlog, prioritizing the needs, effectively tracking progress and communicating with all relevant stakeholders, and fostering an environment of collaboration and communication among the various team members involved in the development process.

As the team leader, I created the design team from scratch. I hired 7 professionals (designers and writers) to work on the digital products for Telekom. My main responsibilities included effectively managing the team, organizing meetings, and providing mentorship and guidance to help them achieve their goals and continue improving their skills. I constantly had 1-on-1 meetings and helped each team member follow his/her own development path.

Also, I played an essential role in defining the product's design vision, evangelizing and adopting the brand book within the teams, and setting the user experience strategy.

I was responsible for the user experience (UX) process and the products created by the entire division. Additionally, I emphasized the importance of user experience by facilitating workshops and presentations that educated the team on usability heuristics and helped improve the products. Also, I did some shadowing in the Telekom stores to find out how the customers of the Telekom services are behaving, and also, to identify their needs regarding digital products.

I was accountable for 6 projects dedicated to nurses and other medical personnel, ensuring that the user experience (UX) process and brand guidelines were followed. I followed the "ISO/ IEC 62366: Medical Devices Application of Usability Engineering to Medical Devices" usability standard. 

I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams and medical professionals from Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, and The United States.

My journey with Stefanini focused on digital transformation with a soft touch of Augmented Reality and many design thinking sessions that I facilitated for remote teams (Romania, Belgium, and Spain). 
Also, my role here was to help colleagues better understand the UX terminology and its applicability. Since March 2018, I have switched to remote, part-time collaboration.

During this collaboration, I organized and conducted training and workshops in different locations (Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest) regarding usability testing methods.

My time in Evozon meant collaboration with multiple departments and teams to help colleagues with the usability and accessibility applicability of their projects. Also, I guided them to understand what those concepts meant. I followed the "ISO/IEC 62366: Medical Devices Application of Usability Engineering to Medical Devices" usability standard for the healthcare projects I was involved in.

At Zitec, I transitioned from testing to user experience (UX) starting in November 2015. I performed manual and automated testing on significant projects such as cosQuare and CardAvantaj, and wrote the test plans, reporting bugs and enhancements on Redmine. Also, I maintained communication with team members, found solutions for problems, facilitated usability testing sessions, wrote reports with the findings, and delivered a presentation series on the UX domain.

At 2Checkout (ex-Avangate) I had the possibility to test and analyze e-commerce websites created for customers from Europe, Asia, and Africa. It was a great experience to see how the culture changes the navigation and the position of the visual elements.

My responsibilities included:
•	Researching how people from different cultures behave (especially for countries from Asia and Africa).
•	Writing the test plans and performing the manual testing for the shopping carts of the following company’s websites: Avira, Kaspersky, Skylum (ex-Macphun), BitDefender, etc.
•	Conducting the usability testing for the products I worked on.

At XWiki I worked in a mixed team and on software such as Confluence and Jira. During my time here, I developed and outlined my passion for usability testing.

My responsibilities included:
•	Creating the test plan and running the tests (manual testing) at fixed time intervals.
•	Creating the testing reports and presented them to the Project Manager.
•	Testing the product and extensions published by users on extensions.xwiki.org on multiple browsers and different databases.
•	Handling presentations and helped the newest colleagues to understand the role of testing on the team.

My first role in XWiki was Junior Core Web Developer, but soon after I've switched to the QA Engineer role, which I found better, given my abilities. Also, being passionate about HTML & CSS, I created some graphics just from code (you can check my profile: https://codepen.io/Andreea).
