About Andrew Keser

Director of Design at Smartling, Inc.

I'm Andrew, but you can call me Keser (rhymes with Weezer).

I am a resourceful, adaptable and visionary Product Design Leader with over 12 years of experience focused on helping B2B software companies grow to new heights. I am a systems thinker obsessed with problem solving, learning new skills and understanding how things work. I love all things art, science, tech and history and if you make a sports reference to me I won't know what you're talking about.

My philosophy and approach to design, problem solving, team building and fostering change is fueled by my love of nature and the inspiration I get from observing the natural world. I see many parallels between business and product ecosystems and those of complex natural ecosystems simply trying to evolve and sustain life all while expending as little energy as possible.

Things I value as a manager and leader in my community: Kindness Equity Authenticity Prioritizing your physical & emotional health, family and personal safety above all else Treating work as what you do, not who you are Putting an end to hustle culture and all the toxic bullsh*t in the tech industry
