About Andy Hunsucker

Assistant Teaching Professor at Penn State University

NOTE: Will be taking an extended break to focus on my students.

As a former Sr UX Researcher, current faculty, and former academic administrator, with multiple advanced degrees in Design and HCI(MS '15, PhD '19), I am uniquely positioned to talk to you about the differences between UX industry, the academic world, and how to transition between them.

I am currently at Penn State as a teaching faculty, and I spent my previous two years as a Sr UX Researcher at Elsevier and Best Buy. I also used to be the associate director of the IU HCI/d program at Indiana University.

I can be especially helpful to those looking thinking about going to grad school or looking to get into tech from academics.
