• Portfolio + CV review (Session 1 - free) (45 min): In this session, we will explore the essential elements of an effective portfolio design and discuss what aspects are currently working and which may need improvement. We will delve into the design philosophy that can guide your portfolio's structure, highlighting the sections that should be retained or removed for optimal impact. Additionally, we will cover the best platforms for creating and hosting your portfolio to ensure it stands out. For CV reviews, We will focus on how to construct a compelling CV that captures attention, including the necessary content and the importance of quantifiable achievements. We will also examine the various tools available for creating a polished CV that reflects your unique experiences and skills. Throughout the session, I will showcase how to leverage AI tools to enhance both your portfolio and CV
• Case study review and revamp (45 min): In this session, we will explore the essential elements of crafting an impactful case study. We will begin by examining what aspects of current case studies are effective and how to build upon those strengths. The discussion will guide you in creating compelling content that resonates with their audience while addressing the challenges of developing case studies in the absence of available projects. We will delve into the vital sections to include and the optimal structure for presenting information clearly and engagingly. and, we will focus on strategies to enhance the case study for both web and mobile platforms, ensuring accessibility and user-friendliness. You will learn about various platforms for hosting their case studies, and we will highlight the specific case studies that can bolster their job search efforts and will leverage AI tools and I will share free resources during the sessions.
• Accessibility Audit (45 min): In this session, we will conduct a comprehensive audit of your website or webapp focusing on practical accessibility standards. We will explore visual accessibility to ensure your design is inclusive and easy for all users to navigate. Additionally, we will examine the content structure to verify that information is presented clearly and logically, enhancing user experience. Our discussion will also include a screen-reader enabled audit to assess how well your content can be accessed by individuals using assistive technologies. By leveraging the mentor's strengths in design, product research, and no/low code solutions, we will provide actionable insights that can help you improve accessibility and usability across your digital platforms. This collaborative session aims to create a more inclusive environment for all users while highlighting best practices and strategies you can implement immediately.
