-In order to make our product work on Mainnet and Rinkeby Ethereum networks, investigated performance of large contracts. Pinpointed a critical issue in the event monitor where our product failed to handle large numbers of events. Formulated and tested a divide-and-conquer event processing algorithm plus, enabling our product to handle Tether, the most active ERC20 contract.
- Enabled our product to be used as middleware by spearheading API token design using JWT.

I worked on reliability improvements for the employer product. I migrated existing codebases, experimented with destructive testing, and took part in on-call rotations. As one of the first two SREs at the company, I helped shape the role and bridge the gap between developers and operations.

I worked on the jobsearch backend team and maintained the search engine codebase. One of my major accomplishments was the development of the canary reload framework. This software safeguarded reloads of the search index, avoiding mass OOM exceptions by ensuring only one server performed a test reload of each new index. I presented my work on this project at Velocity Conference in San Jose in 2017.

My duties included adding new features, fixing bugs, troubleshooting outages, and performing release management. I also worked on a project for artifact distribution. Here I developed new code, helped with QA, and performed release management. As a side project, I organized an interest group where we read papers about privacy and technology.

In Fall 2016 I worked in Tokyo, transferring the search engine and training the new team on how to understand, deploy, and maintain this software. I created and implemented a strategy for international, cross-team collaboration. I updated documentation, and ensured a successful handoff to the new owners.

- Primarily wrote code in Java and Scala, maintaining legacy code and creating new projects.
- Designed and built a new Notifications Engine with a small team, and shared leadership duties.
- Worked closely with UI designers when designing products
- Built REST APIs using the Dropwizard Framework
- Worked in a DevOps environment and served in on-call rotations to maintain our development environment

I was the primary developer on data import software for one of Telogis' largest customers. I performed a daily triage and collaborated with a global team to maintain a fast release cycle. I worked closely our with support team to meet customer demands. Additionally, I designed test frameworks for understanding data flow.

I developed visualizations for client and server mappings. I also wrote MapReduce code to gather weekly statistics.

I wrote an update program to download firmware to a device through an MMIO interface and calculate checksums. I also developed open source tool for displaying Oprofile output as a directory tree.

Helped develop a filesystem interface for sensor networks. Worked with MANTIS OS.
