About Anne-Kathrin Wilbers

Senior Design Researcher at Canopy

I'm a design researcher at Canopy with a psychology and academic research background. I'm passionate about research methods, design in general (whether it's online, paintings, photography, fashion, architecture, etc.), music and film, especially mid-century.

After my master degree in Psychology I worked as a lecturer and research associate in Social- and Media Psychology, trying to write a PhD thesis on eye movements and personality (lots of eye tracking experiments!) for some years. I then transitioned into UX Research and have worked in Germany and the UK for multiple companies and all kinds of products (e.g. from healthcare app to hardware e-commerce to vehicle security).

What mentees say

“I found Anne to be detail-oriented and insightful. She paid attention to the little things and provided me with valuable insights that I hadn't considered before. She was also very knowledgeable, offering practical advice and useful resources to support my goals.”

“Anne has a very positive attitude and is very approachable. I had two very informative sessions with her, where she shared her knowledge on how to write better survey questions and how to conduct effective user interviews. I'm looking forward to having more sessions with her.”
