About Bing(Anyita) Chen

UX Designer at Whirlpool Corporation

I’m a UI/UX designer with six years of experience across China and the U.S., currently holding a Master’s degree in Visual Communication Design from RIT. My journey has taken me from law to design, restaurant entrepreneurship to tech, and most recently, a UX internship at GE Appliances, where I worked on smart home interfaces and connected experiences. I enjoy helping designers navigate career transitions, refine their portfolios, and grow their storytelling skills. Having worked in both large corporations and smaller teams, I can share insights on adapting to different work cultures, breaking down design challenges, and building confidence in interviews and presentations. As a mentor, I can support designers in career transitions, portfolio building, storytelling, and navigating cross-cultural work environments. With my diverse background and practical industry experience, I aim to help aspiring designers strengthen their skills, present their work with confidence, and grow in their careers.
