Hi, I'm Arun — an Enterprise Architect at Capital One with 16 years in financial services and healthcare tech. My career has mostly been spent on the systems nobody else wants to touch: post-merger migrations with zero documentation, legacy black boxes, pipelines that hit their limits at the worst possible time. I've learned more from fixing those than I ever did building anything from scratch. I mentor because I remember exactly what it felt like to not know what I didn't know — moving to the U.S. from India, working my way from writing code at 2am to architecting systems that move billions of dollars, and eventually building the kind of external profile that led to an approved EB1A extraordinary-ability petition and my own green card.
