I am Augustina(Ao) Liu, an award-winning designer based in Seattle, WA. I am a passionate product/UX designer and believe that design should be empowering and inclusive. My passion for inclusive design was sparked during my volunteer work where I noticed seniors with degraded abilities struggling to use modern technology. While studying Human-Centered Design and engineering at the University of Washington, I focused on design solutions incorporating accessibility and inclusion. Now, I strive to bring accessibility and functionality to the forefront of design and create products everyone can use. In addition to my design career, I hope to give back to the design community by volunteering as marketing director at the IxDA in Seattle, mentoring junior designers, delivering speeches at design events, and holding workshops to inspire designers.
My design projects were recognized by many international awards, including UX Design Awards 2023(Nominee), DNA Paris Awards 2023(Winner and Honoree), Creative Communication Awards 2023(Winner), London Design Awards 2023(Gold and Silver), Muse Creative Awards 2023(Silver), Best Brand Awards 2023(The Americas Runner Up), CES Innovation Awards 2023(Honoree), and Titan Health Awards 2023(Silver).
