Axel Metayer built his first website in 1997. After various stages in online agencies in Berlin and Hamburg, he founded the car portal Kfz.Net in 2003, which he still runs successfully today. With this project, he is gaining his own experience in search engine optimization (SEO). The platform also serves as an experimental area and proof of concept for optimization measures. Be it new schema formats for rich snippets or new ways to generate organic traffic.
In the SEO scene, he is also known to insiders as a car pusher because of the car portal. This nickname was given to him by German SEO expert Markus Tandler at the OMD (the online marketing trade fair before DMEXCO).
Since then, he has been advising companies and agencies on how to optimize websites sustainably so that users can find them better online.
Axel Metayer has also gained experience as a speaker at his own SEO training courses, presentations at SEO-Campixx, SEO-Komm, Affiliate Tactixx, the Hamburg Online Marketing Camp, local meetups and other SEO conferences.
In 2013, he went to San Francisco every month for a 10-month coaching course. As a result, the TurnON Hamburg community was established.
Born in 76, bilingual, grew up in France and Germany. Lives and works as a coach for SEO consulting in Hamburg.
“Axel helped me alot with SEO and website optimization. He gave very good insights even for my Linkedin profile, as well as what to improve in order to have a better SEO score on Google search engine.”
“Axel has been by far one of the best (if not the best) mentor I've spoken to on ADP list. His subject knowledge is amazing, he has a true passion for SEO and he goes so deep into it he is truly amazing, We overran our session by 35 minutes but we had so much to talk about, I came away with a list of things to do and check and as a true gentleman Axel left the door open for me to get in touch…”
“The mentoring session with Axel has been the highlight of my week! He gave practical tips on how to break into the German market, from refining my LinkedIn profile, creating my brand, and making myself visible, to submitting applications to companies. Axel is practical, reliable, and knowledgeable. He is generous and will push you forward to get things done.”
