I am a seasoned AI and risk management leader with over 13 years of experience at the intersection of data analytics, machine learning, and regulatory technology. My work spans financial services including Citigroup and Mashreq Bank and e-commerce at Amazon, with a focus on deploying scalable, compliant AI systems. I currently serve as Senior Risk Manager for AI/ML at Amazon, where I lead the development of LLM-powered Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) automation pipelines across global markets. I developed Amazon's global Model Risk Management Policy, aligning with evolving regulations such as the EU AI Act, and have built governance frameworks that ensure fairness, transparency, and auditability in high-stakes model deployments. Prior to Amazon, I held senior product and risk roles at Citigroup, where I led credit card launches, fraud detection initiatives, and stress testing programs. I began my career in regulatory consulting, building risk models for CCAR and Basel compliance. I actively publish on responsible AI and mentor professionals in risk management.
