Design career path

I work on the B2C product area managing and mentoring the designers of the squads responsible for the products related to VTEX's Digital Experience Platform, which are: Store Framework (onboarding and developing tools for partner engineers), Composable Commerce (CMS, App Store, Releases among other tools for the operational staff of our customers) and Cloud Services (web service tools). The main focus of my work today is the StoreFront UX project, a full analysis (researching and experimenting) of the end-consumer journey and what are their strongest pain points during the shopping experience on our customers' stores. The results of this work help me focus on features that our product need to improve from a user-centric perspective, and also provides large documentation of UX best practices for e-commerce considering different stores' segments and countries. My mission is, with success cases based on increasing sales data, to help growing a platform that delivers a great building and maintaining experience for those who manage the stores, and therefore more user-friendly online purchases. So that all of this works in a fluid way, my routine involves constant alignment with product managers and engineer managers to make sure that the design deliveries have quality and strategic fit.

I managed the UX UI Design team as a pool of resource using situational leadership concepts, agile methodologies, and design process frameworks in a continuous improvement environment. Reporting to the CPO, I actively participated in product definitions along with POs and stakeholders, focusing on the issues that needed to be addressed, business goals, and metrics for all Ingresso.com interfaces. Ingresso is a Fandango Company, so to sell movie tickets with the best possible experience, I worked from user research (data analysis, personas, questionnaires, interviews, focus group), passing through user experience and interface design (user journey, prototypes, layouts, usability tests, design system) to implementation follow-up and its results directly with the developers' team (quality validations and AB tests). This path was applied for all products, whether they were B2B or B2C focused: website, mobile apps, self-service kiosks, POSs, interactive TVs, and sales management systems for the box offices of the largest movie theatres in Brazil. My mission there was to make these experiences more intuitive, pleasant, and unified, following our users in every step of the purchasing process.

I was responsible for the development of several interface projects for B2W brands (Submarino.com, Americanas.com, Shoptime.com, Ingresso.com, among others). Working from researches and tests directly with users to the creation of architecture and visual for products of these e-commerces, the biggest ones in Brazil.

I worked at Ideais Design, a segment of the tech startup Ideais Tecnologia, developing both graphic and digital materials for large clients such as B2W and FIFA. My functions ranged from design for branding projects to the development of layouts for websites and softwares produced by the company.

For 3 ½ years I was part of the Visual Design department of Mr. Cat, a fashion brand in the footwear and accessories segment. I produced shop window materials like displays, banners, stickers, as well as participated in the production of catalogs, advertisements, giveaways and trend information. I also worked on the editing of internal videos and the photographic production of the products. Other responsibilities were the layouts of the website, blog and social media, which triggered my transfer to the e-commerce department, where I worked for another year producing screens layouts and photos for the brand's online store .

I worked for a year in the laboratory of Photo-poetics at the Industrial Design College of UFRJ creating projects of photography, video editing and poetry focusing on the presentation for the Journey of Scientific, Artistic and Cultural Initiation Giulio Massarani.

During a year as a monitor in Writing and Interpreting, and a year as an English monitor, I assisted in exercises and studies many students from elementary school to pre-college. I corrected exercises and exams, as well as substituted teachers lecturing classes at the education institution PH.
