Working with engineers

How to think about design career paths and what progression looks like for designers?

Design career path

I work on Growth Squads applications, optimizing and selecting new students in the hiring process. I define with the Product Manager the strategies, KPIs, and measurements to be achieved through continuous discoveries and other quantitative and qualitative methods. I lead end-to-end design processes, with a lot of on experiments to learn fast.

I help to make the Design System components.

I worked on Guiabolso Connect, a B2B2C application that focuses on facilitating the analysis of people's financial profiles by connecting their bank accounts, making it possible for the contracting company to offer better services to its users. In addition, its positioning is to be enough data intelligence so that companies can make better decisions and faster conversions in their products.

In the scope of my work, I carried out end-to-end UX/UI, using specialists to assist in Writing, UI, and UX Research.

Linte is a technology company whose purpose is to make the work of the legal department more efficient through digital solutions focused on Advisory and Contracts. To scale the product, we make continuous discoveries and deliveries (based on the agile Dual-Track Agile methodology and the Design Thinking approach), where I worked end-to-end with product design, from discovery, definition, ideation, prototyping, specification and measurement of results. Actively contributed to the component library and the style guide.

It also offered support to Product Marketing, helping to update the brand's Positioning.

Main software: Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, Miro

Grupo Aste is a holding of premium international brands, which at the time had the following brands in its portfolio: New Balance, Jansport, Kipling, Diesel, Coach, Ugg, Allbags, and Clube de Marcas.
My scope of work was based on digital campaigns and art direction for marketing media focused on performance. The main brands I worked on were New Balance, Jansport, Kipling, Clube de Marcas, and Allbags.
Most of the materials developed were email marketing, landing page, banners, performance, social media. I also sometimes developed printed materials.
Software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Dreamweaver, After Effects and Premiére.

Tutto is a branding agency focused on small companies and startups that seek to reposition and also build a position for new brands in the market. My scope was based on online and offline materials for brand positioning and strategic campaigns: visual identities, institutional materials, institutional websites (via WordPress model), social media, presentations, editorial design, image editing and processing, and illustrations. The main brands were Aes, Duratex, Aes Eletropaulo, Sovis, Bendito Coworking and Pacer Logística.

Software: Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects

Oppa Design is a Brazilian furniture and decoration startup, whose main idea is to bring quality design furniture at an affordable price, with the slogan that "Design is for everyone". In my scope of work were:
• Execution and finalization of online and offline layouts - banners, headers, email marketing, flyers, posters, POS material.
• Image curation and customization of the brand's audiovisual materials.
• Edit and Processing images for social media.
• Participation in brainstorming processes and creative development of online and offline campaigns.

Software: Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

My first experience with design was performing customizing the layout of cups, slippers, kits, among others for weddings and events. This involved using some of the pre-existing vectors/compositions or creating new ones respecting customer requests. Build mockups with image treatment and composition in Photoshop, simulating the application in cups, slippers, boxes, among others.
I also made email marketing layouts and their respective HTML codes.

In the period in question, I prioritized my pre-university studies, doing freelance work.
• book's design for small publishers
• positioning, platform, and brandbooks
• content for social media.
