About Bodhi Stewart

Principal Product Designer at REI

Hello there 🤠

I'm a Principal Product Designer, leading design at REI for the new Innovation team. I love wicked problems, design strategy, and making the outdoors accessible and safe for everyone.

People most often come to me for help with design strategy, systems thinking, creating (and wrangling) cross-functional teams, gaining trust from product partners and getting design a seat at the table, and all things Figma.

I've had a lot of great mentors who have taught me how to get my first job, how to know when to leave a job, what to look for in my next roles, and how to chart a growth path— I'm always happy to pass on that knowledge as well.

If my calendar is closed— please check back soon! I open availability periodically so I'm not booked solid for a month 😊

Sessions with Bodhi Stewart

  • Mentorship Session (30 min): General mentorship

What mentees say

“Bodhi was not only awesome but very relatable. I’m transitioning from a learning & development specialist to UX and she was able to help me prep and give me great advice for an upcoming interview. We went over what a whiteboard challenge looks like and how to complete it. With Bodhi tricks, tips and tools I know I’ll be successful.”

Remi Umanah, Learning & Development at Asurion

“Bodhi was very likable and friendly to talk to. As I'm trying to switch from graphic designer to UX designer, she gave me helpful advice on my portfolio, resume, and job search. She gave me a clear direction and areas to focus on for my journey. This was great especially since I was started to feel lost and frustrated without good guidance. I regret not booking a mentoring session with her sooner.”

Yoshi Azuma, UXUI Designer at Universal Destinations & Experiences

“Bodhi gave me some great insights on what junior designers can do to be a better designer. Such as talking to your users and to ensure that the design decisions we make are user-centric and addresses user problems. Bodhi also reassured me that it's normal to feel lost when you're just starting out, and now I definitely feel more confident.”
