I'm Bonnie, Head of Design at Open Point, where I lead a globally distributed product design team. Most of my work lives at the intersection of design practice and organisational culture; building teams that are not just effective, but genuinely valued and understood by the people around them.

I care a lot about what makes design teams truly respected within an organisation. That means developing empathy, building culture, and helping designers grow into practitioners who bring real depth and human-centred thinking to their work, and who know how to bring others along with them.

I'm also deeply invested in cross-functional communication. Helping designers build real relationships across disciplines, develop a shared language across cross-functional teams, and create the kind of trust that makes empathy and design a shared practice across the business, not just a design team value.
