I'm a UX researcher with prior experience in market research, marketing, and consulting. I've spent time both embedded with a client on an ongoing basis and working with multiple clients on discrete projects.
I'm on ADPList because I want to continue supporting other professionals, especially students and people new to research, in a more structured way.
Stuff I can help with: • Resume and portfolio reviews for market research, marketing, and UX research roles • Job hunting advice for new professionals, experienced professionals, and people switching careers • Research design & analysis • Preparing and presenting findings • Managing client and internal relationships • Feeling "out of place" in tech. (You belong!)
Stuff I'm not well suited to help with: • General questions about the field of research or UX (aka, questions that are too general) • Anything specific to UX design (I'm not a designer, even though some people hiring UX experts really, really want UXers to do both research & design) • Mock interviews and interview advice (I don't hire people or participate in hiring enough to be helpful!)
