• Coffee Chat / Chat about UX (45 min): For this section, we will discuss general information about the UX industry for individuals interested in breaking in. It could cover a range of topics related to UX, but excludes interview skill questions or portfolio critiques. We can discuss topics such as what happens after graduating from a boot camp, how to prepare to break into the industry, design career path, and more. Mentees should prepare questions before the session begins.
• UX Interview Hacks: Secrets & Tips (45 min): In this class, I will cover common questions asked in UX interviews (+ mock interview) and why these questions are posed. I'll delve into the essence of answering these questions effectively. By the end of this class, participants will gain a clear understanding of how to prepare for a UX interview and secure an offer with ease.
• UX Resume Review (30 min): During resume review sessions, I'll thoroughly examine your current resume from a recruiter's perspective and provide feedback to enhance its effectiveness. You'll receive guidance on improving job descriptions, UX project descriptions, resume keywords, and resume layout. A clear and professional UX resume is always a powerful tool to compel recruiters to give you a callback.
• UX Portfolio Review & Revamp (60 min): In these sessions (x3), I'll review your existing portfolio and provide constructive feedback for improvement. You'll receive guidance on enhancing visual appeal, organizing content, and targeting specific audiences. Revamp your portfolio to make a lasting impression and increase your chances of landing dream projects or job opportunities.
