Yubo is a French live social discovery app that allows users to connect with new friends and discover new communities.

At Yubo, I have the opportunity to work directly with the Head of Design and the co-founders, where I lead design efforts on new features, from exploration and research to final implementation while collaborating closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure that design decisions are aligned with the company's goals, and that the design is implemented correctly.

I'm also working to improve the web-based moderation and safety tools, by redesigning features according to the feedback from the moderation team and removing friction from their process making it more efficient.

- Providing weekly 1:1 mentoring sessions that cover design theory, research and user-centered design methodologies and strategies.
- Reviewing students' projects and assignments and providing actionable feedback and guidance, helping students improve their skills and knowledge.
- Helping students to prepare for job interviews and portfolio reviews, leading to successful job placements after graduation.

I take great pride in being a part of Designlab's mission to empower people to start a career in design, and I have enjoyed helping students achieve their goals and reach their full potential as a designer.

Plato is a mentorship platform for product and engineering leaders, providing an effective way for new leaders to connect with experienced ones. As a lead designer on the team, I played a critical role in designing and delivering several key features and improvements that have driven the platform's growth.

One of my main responsibilities was to lead the redesign of the platform's mentor and mentee scheduling system. I used design thinking to better understand the problems users were facing, and developed an experience-based approach that improved usability and streamlined the scheduling process. This redesign helped remove frictions and increase the number of successful mentor-mentee matches by 20%.

Another important aspect of my work at Plato was to lead the efforts for the company's planned platform update, Plato 2.0, where I worked closely with the product, engineering and success teams. This included:

- Conducting user research and interviews to validate design decisions and understand user needs
- Rethinking the entire user journey map of each persona, and supporting the product team in the creation of service blueprints
- Leading the user flow efforts, and working cross-functionally with other teams to align the design with the company's north star
- Revamping the design system and introducting design tokens to increase the implementation quality, consistency within the design team and improve the work flow between the design and the engineering teams.
- Revamping the look and feel of the platform, to match the expectations of a Series A company

Throughout my time at Plato, I was able to improve the user experience, design and implement new features, and ultimately drive the platform's growth and success.

Interos is a supply chain risk management platform, which serves industries such as aerospace and defense.

The company was looking to improve the usability and overall user experience of their platform, as well as establish a design system to streamline their design process and promote consistency across their products.

During my tenure at Interos, I led the redesign efforts of the platform, where I played an instrumental role in:

- Utilizing previously conducted user research and usability testing to understand the pain points and needs of the users
- Creating wireframes, prototypes and user journeys that improve user experience
- Collaborating closely with the existing in-house team of UX designers and researchers to redesign the platform with their know-how and future vision in mind.

Additionally, I also supported the creation of the company's first design system, Atlantis. My contributions included:

- Establishing design guidelines and best practices to promote consistency and usability across the platform
- Creating reusable design components and patterns, reducing the time to design and develop new features
- Facilitating workshops and design sprints to gather feedback and align with cross-functional teams.

I'm proud of the work I did at Interos, it was a great experience and it allowed me to showcase my leadership and problem-solving skills.

Freedom Robotics is a robotics control, monitoring and management platform that provides a single-pane-of-glass to monitor and manage fleets of robots. During my tenure at Freedom Robotics, I played a critical role in defining the design language of the product, leading all the design efforts including new features and directing design projects that were conducted by third parties.

One of my main responsibilities was to create an early stage design language for the product, and I was instrumental in developing a unique "Tony Stark" look and feel for the product, which helped establish the brand's identity and differentiate it from the competition.

As the company shifted its focus from startups to catering to enterprise companies, I adapted the design language accordingly and introduced industry specfic features to meet the new needs of these clients, contributing to the success in signing contracts with enterprise clients.

In addition to this, I also led other designers in the creation of marketing collaterals outside the product and directed the design on projects that were conducted by third parties.

I also played a key role in defining key concepts such as the fleet system, which lent itself to the eventual zone structure that was commonly used in manufacturing plants that the platform started to cater to. I also designed AR interfaces for the piloting feature that enabled the operators to take control of their robots in FPV mode, resulting in an efficient user experience. Furthermore, I also designed map-based interfaces and robot control and command patterns, which allowed operators to monitor and control their robots with ease.

Throughout my time at Freedom Robotics, I was able to help the company establish its design language, differentiate itself from the competition and make significant contributions to the company's overall success.

Agnoris is a guest intelligence tool that uses data analysis to help restaurants position their menus for maximum sales, engagement, and profit. During my tenure with Agnoris, I played a critical role in defining the brand's identity and design language, and designing the platform's user interface.

One of my main responsibilities was to develop the brand identity and design language for Agnoris. This included the creation of a logo, typography, and color scheme that accurately reflected the company's mission and target market.

In addition to this, I also worked on the design of the platform's dashboard which was critical for representing the data in the most appealing yet easily legible way. The dashboard was designed in such a way that it could tell a story, providing a clear and concise representation of the data that helped restaurant owners make informed decisions that resulted in a 20% increase in profit.

I also worked on data visualization and deep thinking on the data gathered and presented in the platform. I designed the visual representation of data sets in such a way that it made it easy for the users to understand and act upon the information.

Throughout my time working with Agnoris, I was able to establish a clear brand identity and design language for the platform, and play a critical role in designing an easy-to-use and engaging dashboard that helped restaurant owners improve their sales, engagement, and profit.
