About Carl Amekudzi
Network Operations Engineer at Google
I am a Network Operations Engineer at Google with over 12 years of experience building and managing the massive fiber and data networks that keep the world connected. My career has focused on high-scale systems like DWDM and IP/MPLS, but my true passion lies in mentorship.
Early in my career, I had to navigate the complexities of the telecom industry entirely on my own. I spent years researching and teaching myself how to break into top-tier roles because I didn’t have a mentor to show me the way. Today, I am committed to being that guide for others. I enjoy the process of breaking down complex technical concepts and helping engineers build a clear, structured path to success. By sharing the lessons I learned the hard way, I aim to help the next generation of engineers bridge the digital divide and reach their full potential without the unnecessary struggle
