I’m a product designer with 5 years of startup experience, designing from ideation to implementation. I am a maker at heart. I don’t see design as a digital job, but a way of approaching all types of real world problems. I design everything from design teams to popup campsites to ultra-marthon training plans.
As a kid growing up in the Bay Area, I loved nature and was a self-proclaimed “inventor.” Today, I can be found leading packs of New Yorkers on campouts, breathing life into digital products, and tinkering with whatever crafting project I’ve cooked up this month (update: handbuilt functional ceramics).
Before I entered tech, my human-centered design values were established by my architectural education. Countless late nights at the studio hardened a work ethic that was established over 18 years of competitive and collegiate swimming. For as long as I can remember, I’ve achieved my greatest accomplishments in a team environment.
In design and in life, I value focus, resourcefulness, and initiative. I care about designing useful products that go beyond the User and account for the full life of the humans they build for. I design best when left to experiment and iterate - action is my favorite teacher.
I’m currently leading Product Design at Harness Wealth in NYC, building personal finance tools that make your finances make sense.
