Service Design lead + UX Manager at JP Morgan
I was "the kid that could draw" at school and my first job out of college was as a interactive designer for Mexico's first Internet Service Provider. I learned to code HTML and design software from the first internet developers in the country. Shortly after, found myself leading a team of over 10 "web" designers for the first portal in the country.
I have been working in UX throughout its evolution in tech in both mature and highly immature organizations and have built the design organization form scratch many times over.
Because of this I consider my mentorship strengths to be in the art of adaptation and influence in whatever circumstance a practitioner may be: Establishing and growing UX Managing stakeholders Identifying skills that can elevate your track record Finding inspiration when you don't control the entirley of your work
