Hello! I’m Charlie and I’d love to be your next mentor.
I’ve been working in and around the wider field of UX for more than a decade (eeek, that makes me feel old), and I’ve been leading teams on and off for 6 years. In recent years my focus has been on content design, UX writing, product design, UX strategy and leadership.
Right now, I lead a team of wonderful product designers at FREE NOW, a German organisation with hubs all over Europe, building the future of mobility and urban transport. I also regularly run training sessions and workshops for the wider business, to help people improve a whole range of skills. I’ve worked in UX in all sorts of industries, including luxury goods and retail, travel, climate change technology, across B2B, B2C and SaaS.
Outside my main role, I’ve acted as an advisory board member for the UX Content Collective, helping them to develop the criteria for a number of courses. I’ve also worked with a number of small start ups as a part time consultant. I’ve done lots of mentoring at my organisation, through LinkedIn and through ADP, so you’re in safe hands.
I’ve spent time working and/or living in the U.K., Paris, Miami, Barcelona, Hamburg and Berlin, for a number of awesome organisations, so I’m happy to work with mentees all over the globe.
