Why are your sessions one hour? I am a firm believer meaningful, constructive feedback or questions can't be answered within 30 minutes if it is the first time I am meeting with someone, especially if it is a case study review. I keep the rest of my evening open to take these virtual calls to help you as much as possible—the longest call I've done was over 2 hours!
Can I book more time with you? Please message me on the side for ad hoc scheduling. I try to keep my calendar open to speak to those whom I haven't spoken to before.
What do you do at Lyft? I am currently a Senior Product Designer at Lyft where I focus on the B2B/healthcare space, assist with interviewing and hiring, and co-chair our internal mentorship program.
What is your background? Originally from Hawaii, my design career started in the agency world after graduating from a local community college. Soon after, I got involved with the local design community by joining AIGA Honolulu as a board member and became a part-time lecturer teaching HTML and CSS.
In 2015, I relocated to San Francisco with no plans, looking for the next chapter in my life (and living on an island can drive you crazy!).
